Meet Amanda

Amanda is one of those people who gets more done in a day than most accomplish in a week, and she does it with grace.

As Montano’s Landscaping’s Vice President, Amanda serves a critical role with our most recent venture - a partnership with Premier Pools & Spas that enables us to project manage the entire landscape & pool design & installation process. This role has also awarded Amanda the loving title of “Pool Lady.”

Amanda didn’t start out working alongside Carlos - she took a different path first. A pre-med major at Bradley University, natural health became Amanda’s passion. She changed courses, attending school for massage therapy, with a particular focus in Thai massage. She opened her own massage therapy business and also became a yoga instructor. After 3 years, Amanda’s body gave out on her, and she began working behind the scenes with Montano’s - answering phones, booking appointments, and marketing the business.

Her role with the company continued to grow, even as the family decided to home school their 2 youngest children in 2020 and hasn’t looked back. They are very active and love going on family hikes, swimming, boating, and ATVing - anything outdoors.

When asked what draws her most to co-owning a landscape design/build company, Amanda says it’s creating spaces to help families get outside. Families are busy, and it is an honor working with them to create an environment where they can step outside and just enjoy their time together.
