Colin & Bridget’s Nature, Reimagined
A COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION
Colin and Bridget were thrilled to purchase a property in a coveted, well established subdivision in Naperville, IL. They loved the Colonial style of the home and the privacy afforded by the mature trees. The home had a raised wood deck, with a yard that had a great deal of potential with the right design. Their vision when they met with Montano’s was a modern stone patio that would be the perfect link between their home and the nature behind it.

Clean Lines and Vibrant Gardens
In order for the patio to stand up to the beauty of the home itself and its natural surroundings, the Montano’s team recommended light gray pavers by Unilock, bordered by dark gray brick pavers. Two unique patio spaces - one for dining and one for entertaining - are separated by a gorgeous subset of dark gray pavers laid in a herringbone pattern. The adjacent gardens are that much more stunning, with the brilliant colors contrasting the dark stone.
Since trees close to the house were removed to construct the patio, our on-staff horticulturist created a landscape design that incorporated a variety of shrubs and fragrant hydrangea to infuse fresh, natural elements throughout the space.
A must for any backyard transformation in the Midwest, a fire pit allows Colin & Bridget to enjoy their space well into dark summer evenings and on chilly fall days. It is the ideal space to unwind at the end of the day.
